EVENT PRODUCER

 My Name is Dre Bookman, I am a freelance event producer in Los Angeles, California. Blu Wind is an LLC I created so that I can bill clients and help feed my cat. I have 9 years of experience in the events industry. I started out as a Brand Ambassador at the Nike Run Club in Santa Monica and eventually became a Production Coordinator, Manager, and finally Director. I've produced experiences all over the country, activations from store openings, movie premieres, trade show tours, popups, basketball leagues and more. Mostly in the arena of sports and entertainment marketing, but I've worked for clients all over the marketing spectrum. 

I love being a part of a team that thrives in fast past environments. Budgets, logistics, vendors, grids, zoom calls, brainstorms, clients- the firestorm that is the production process is just a normal day in the life. Above all, seeing events come to life while having a great time doing it- that's my jam.

Outside of work. I love to read books about philosophy and physics. I also tend to train like I'm going to be an elite athlete one day (I'm not)- I have ran a few ultra relays and even an ultra marathon (R2R2R).
